Riley O'Hagan, DPT, OCS, CSCS
E-mail: riley@hayashidaPT.com

Riley attended San Diego State and graduated with a degree in
Kinesiology in 2007. He then attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona where he obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has trained athletes from grade school to the national level. He currently manages injuries and coordinates care for the UCSB Rugby Team and Santa Barbara Rugby Academy.

Riley’s passion for exercise science and physical therapy began at a
young age while excelling in sports. He went on to play 4 years of collegiate rugby at SDSU and earned the honor of All-American. He believes in order to optimize performance or eliminate pain, the patient should be educated to understand the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal demands of the movement that you are requiring of your
body. Patients need to be educated to recognize that identifying movement dysfunction and weakness in their early stages can prevent injuries from becoming chronic and decrease the likelihood of occurrence.

“My goal is to provide the most up to date evidence based manual therapy
and exercise prescription in addition to instilling the confidence to
return to sport or life.”

Riley plans on sitting for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Exam within
the next year.
